Baldomero Romero Ressendi ( Sevilla , January 20, 1922 - Madrid , 11 April 1977) was a Spanish painter. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Seville, where he stood out for his great artistic talent, although he was considered by some of his professors as extravagant because of his tendency to get out of the conventional conventional molds. He agreed during its formative stage in Seville with the natural painter Marchena Euphemianus Sanchez , who maintained a friendship throughout his life.

From 1946 onwards he became famous as a scandalous painter. Some of his works were considered by religious authority to be obscene and lack respect for morality, although he always enjoyed protectors and friends who took him into great consideration.

His style can fit within Expressionism. Among his major works can be noted: The parlor of San Bernardo , The Temptation of St. Jerome , The Eighth Circle or the burial of Christ . 3
