Warren Brandt
Warren Brandt was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on February 26, 1918. He studied at Pratt Institute from 1935 to 1938, Washington University, with Philip Guston and Max Beckmann and the Art Students League with Yasuo Kuniyoshi. He was head of the Art Department of Salem College from 1949 to 1950.
